FLATFOOT (Pes Planus)

A fallen arch or flatfoot is known medically as pes planus. This is when the foot loses the gently curving arch on the inner side of the sole, just in front of the heel.

Anatomically the longitudinal arch is supported by a ligament known as the long plantar ligament which acts as both a supportive and connective structure for the muscles of the foot to attach to known as the plantar fascia.

With flatfoot the longitudinal arch is flatter to the surface. As a result the foot and ankle complex have to work harder to support the body during weight bearing resulting in pain and discomfort 😫

Group Fitness Classes

Pinnacle Fitness & Health are now offering regular Exercise Classes & Bootcamp sessions at venues around the North & North West London area. A lot of people find that training on their own or following a set routine at the gym can be very boring & repetitive.

Training as part of a group provides a more affordable way to exercise as well as being a great way to socialise & meet new people. It also allows you to reach your fitness goals as part of a team & helps to keep you more motivated.

All of our classes are designed to suit everyone no matter what your fitness levels are.

We try to incorporate as much variety into the sessions as possible & utilise different styles of training & a variation of equipment in order to ensure we keep the sessions fun, varied but challenging at the same time. It also helps to eliminate the boredom factor from your workouts.

You will perform a range of individual & team exercises that will challenge your speed, strength, agility & power & will utilise a range of different fitness equipment as well some of your old-school favourite bodyweight exercises!

  • Please note that Pinnacle Fitness & Health operates a 24hr cancellation policy, If u fail to give 24hrs notice of any cancellation you will be charged the full session fee.
